 India is a country of forts and palaces among others. Most forts were built as a different mechanism to keep the enemy at bay. On the other hand most palaces were constructed in the name of kings and queens the notable feature of each of the palace is the exquisite carving work that has survived till date and still receives appreciations from people worldwide.
The best example id the state of Rajasthan that is home to the forts & palaces built in the yester years. And may of them are being run as five star hotels in ate present time.
Rajasthan is the desert state of India. An area of great beauty and contrast, it is the home of the valorous and colorful people- Rajputs, Jats, and Bishnois. It is also a land, which successfully combines the dazzling burning sands with simmering lake palaces. The hard rugged backdrop of shifting sand dunes has surprisingly inspired the imaginative creation of temples, forts and palaces of stunning artistry. It has also inspired color and pageantry as never before. One is simply transported back in time by few centuries while traveling through this wonderful area of India.
